Can you believe it? Another decade has started. Let's make it the best ever. Check out the sewer's resolutions inside.

Our resolution (mission) is to provide you with the best service, classes and special events possible in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. If you ever have a problem, please, please let us know so it can be resolved. If you don't tell us of a problem, we can't fix it.

As for special events, we have a couple of really good programs coming up. In January, we have Diana Cedolia's 4D Software Boot Camp, a 3 day intensive 4D experience. Total immersion in 4D is the best way to learn, so this is your chance. It's filling quickly, so register soon. See calendar and class descriptions for more details.

In February, we are excited to host Sue Hausman for her "Sew and Quilt with Sue" program, a jam-packed day of sewing and quilting inspiration. There will be loads of projects and 'how to' plus tips and techniques Sue is known for to make your sewing and quilting easier, more fun and ways to help you get them done.

She will bring some of her favorite projects from 'America Sews' for you to enjoy! Herb, her wonderful husband, will be on hand to tell you what it is like to be Sue's CEO (Carry Everything Out)! There's sure to be loads of fun and surprises! Bring or wear (or both) something you have made to share with Sue!

The program will be held in the store and it filling up as you read this. The first 25 people to sign up and pay will have reserved seating for the program and for lunch. We will hold a drawing to see who sits at Sue's table. Register early -- time is running short.

Our business runs on machine and serger sales, and repeat business and service. However, the lifeblood of our organization is in our classes where we get to know everyone better and become one family. So, welcome. Join our family!

We always need ideas for classes, so if you have anything you would like to see offered, please let us know. We will be pleased to try to accommodate you.

Check out our table of previously loved machines. With the sales of new machines at Christmas, we have a good supply of trades. We have Platinum 770 sewing machines, and a good array of embroidery machines that were well loved. They include 950 Platinums, Designer 1s, and even a Designer SE. Get a really good deal. Even used machines get free guide classes and free maintenance for a year. If you didn't get one for a gift, this is the time. Be good to yourself.

Our employee family is changing. Last newsletter, we welcomed Jean Clarke as a new employee and teacher. Now we say "Happy Retirement" to Carolyn McDonough. Carolyn has been part of the employee family for a lot of years. Maybe after a while, when she really misses us, she'll come and teach occasionally.

Don't forget we have Valentine's Day coming up. A small handmade gift to your mom, daughter or granddaughter would be perfect. Several of our classes will produce just the thing. Explore our calendar for good ideas.

On St. Patrick's Day, everyone who comes in wearing something green will recieve a surprise gift. Also, any green thread purchased that day will receive 30% off.

Easter is coming on little rabbit feet April 4. Easter ushers in spring and it will be time to do some of those pretty designs. Plan ahead.

We have been approached recently by organizations looking for speakers for their meetings. We are always happy to accommodate your needs. We will do round table discussions, hands on presentations, computer demos, or just generic talks on today's sewing, notions, employment opportunities and more, Please give us as much lead time as you can and we can make it happen for you. Just give us ideas of what you would like to see.
