Can you believe it? 2012! And we made it through another one. One thing about sew-ers, we do have staying power. I hope the old year was good to you and that the new one is even better. In any case, the slate is clean and ready for new beginnings. But first, a round of applause to all of my valued clientele for your support over the last years. Can you believe we are entering our 26th year business? In these days of Internet shopping and instant gratification, I love to have you come into the store to see what is new and just to say hello.

In keeping with our past history, we are continuing to try to bring outside educators each month to provide some of the latest information in sewing.

Join Diana Cedolia for 5D software Boot Camp on January 26, 27, and 28. If you have never taken any of Diana's classes, you are in for an awesome treat. She is by far the most knowledgeable and most patient educator I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is presenting a three day intensive software experience. Total immersion in 5D is the best way to learn, so this is your chance. If you already own 5D, this is where you learn to use it. If you do not own it, it will be installed on your computer for use of the class. Diana Cedolia is the best instructor available to help you learn it all! Do not miss this opportunity.

In February we present The Sew Exciting Fun With Sulky Blendables Seminar presented by Eric Drexler. it will be on Saturday, February 18 at both 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.. The cost is $18 and guess what? Each adult receives $15 in Sulky products FREE! Plus there is a free door prize drawing at each 2 1/2 hour session! it doesn't get any better than that. Open House is scheduled for Saturday, February 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. I will be going to Orlando for Viking's Spring Sewfest in late January to see what's new. I will see you all at the open house to let you in on the latest scoop. There are always new and different supplies unveiled their. Join us.

Oh, yes. I would like to take a moment to introduce our newest instructor. Her name is Donna Whitacre and I am impressed with the knowledge she brings with her. She is starting out doing a basic sewing class in January. This is good not only for new sew-ers but for those who haven't updated their skills in a long time – – things have indeed changed with the new fibers and new accessories. Some of the old ways don't work too well with the newer fabrics. Donna has also indicated that she would enjoy starting a kids sewing class if enough people are interested. If this applies to you, please let me know so we can get it underway.

Our business runs on machine and searcher sales, and repeat business and service. However, the lifeblood of her organization is in our classes where we get to know everyone better and become one family so, welcome. Join our family!

All makes and models of machines and searchers are welcome in classes. Machines may be rented for classes and the rental fee will be applied to your purchase if you decide to buy a machine. Advance arrangements must be made for rentals for classes.

Are you receiving e-mails from us? I certainly hope so because that is how I try to keep you informed of exciting news as it happens. Sometimes it is a sale, sometimes it's an added class or event and sometimes just news. If you are not getting e-mails, please let me know so I can remedy the situation.
